Wilson Coneybeare
Wilson Coneybeare, a working writer since his late teens, has written film, television, theatre, and radio, and yet this is his first novel.
Most recently he wrote and directed American Hangman, a feature film starring Donald Sutherland and Vincent Kartheiser. The film, a sharp attack on the American justice system, was released in 2019 on Netflix and has gained a cult following.
Prior to this, Wilson focused almost exclusively on children’s stories and family entertainment. His work has been broadcast by everyone from Disney to BBC to CBC, PBS, and Discovery. As a playwright, many of his plays were produced by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and he claims to be one of the last people to ever have made a living as a radio dramatist.
A citizen of both the United States and Canada, he splits his time between both countries, is married and the father of four children.
He is finishing a new novel, which will be available in spring 2023.
